Overview

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) invites online applications for 1 post of Specialist Grade II (Junior Scale) - Cardiology at the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC). Eligibility

Age: not exceeding 48 years (OBC) as on the closing date, with 10 years' additional relaxation for PwBD candidates. Educational qualification: a recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule, or Part II of the Third Schedule, to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (excluding licentiate qualifications), together with a post-graduate degree in Cardiology (D.M. Cardiology) or an equivalent recognized qualification. Experience: a minimum of 3 years' experience in the cardiology specialty after obtaining the post-graduate degree. This post is suitable for PwBD candidates in the BL, LC, DW, and AAV categories, plus SLD and MD.

Responsibilities

Rendering patient care in the cardiology specialty, and conducting and guiding research work in the specialty, at the hospitals and dispensaries of the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC), along with any other duties assigned by the authorities. Private practice of any kind is prohibited in exchange for Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA).

Requirements

Recognized medical qualification under the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (excluding licentiate qualifications), plus a post-graduate degree in Cardiology (D.M.
