Selection process
Two papers: Paper-I is Bengali/Nepali (50 marks, 1 hour), conventional questions, qualifying at 30%. Paper-II is 200 marks in 2.5 hours covering English (50 marks), Elementary Mathematics (50 marks), and Survey Engineering (100 marks), all MCQs with 0.25 negative marking per wrong answer. Merit list based on Paper-II marks only. Followed by document verification and medical fitness.
